Lumpy Oatmeal makes me Crazy!

An illness came that had no name
And left behind a hollow mind
Devoid of care, evil laid bare
His family felt the blow

Eyes to the soul were empty holes
Intent to hide his dark insides
His children lost; they paid the cost
He did not see them go

Those alibis were twisted lies
A mad mind crazed stole him away
No one could find the man once kind
This one they did not know

Fear of him died as teardrops dried
Victims grow strong and life moves on
He died alone, his children grown

We reap the seeds we sow.

Reminds me of the Beatles song..."The Fool On The Hill."...interesting that at about twenty they wrote of fools on the hill, taxmen and of one day being 64, and today Paul is 64...James
