Father! What have I done that I have lost the site of your grace?
That you no longer hear my cries of hurt and pain of my blunder
And I have lost it all by looking back at the pillar of salt
It has leaked through my hands and taken by the wind
My sorrows go unheard have you forgotten me?

Could I have a chance again to do it right
Change my past with the click of your light
Foolish of me to look away so many nights
When you opened your heart to me I mocked you in vain
Now losing everything that I loved you have braught me to my knees

If I could have it back I would treat it fairly
I would of done it right not staind your commandments with my needs
Nor look away and worship what was only human
Did you have to erase him from my life
Took away my only one true love

Am I not just a pityful soul?
Wanting what many want and that is love
To have it not returned is a punishishment none want to endure
I ask your forgiveness for not looking up to you first
Please have pity on me and bring back my king

I do not need shine or wealth, just a pen and some paper for my health
