The memory blurs fast
Of the woman i loved, before the last
Though memories do often fade
They get stored, as soon as they are made
In a safer place, for when we leave this plane

Do we meet up with all our old loves
When we have taken our last breath?
Do we forget the fights
And love again after death?
Are our memories all thats left
Of a life of love thats been bereft?

I hope we do, because it would mean no more
The pain and loss in romantic war
The petty squabbles, the pointless fights
The times apart, the lonely nights
So if memmories are all we take
To the land after this when we never wake
I will still be loving you.

This was so emotionally filled,
touching me as I thought of someone,
and hoped these were their thoughts,
words, and feelings.

I think that additional line would be wonderful

though the poem is quite moving as it stands

What an absolutely moving piece ... and your suggestion for the closing line is a good one, but perhaps consider this also

Your memory I shall not forsake~

BEAUTIFULLY done~
