Another Lie of Convenience
By Paul Wilson

Precious words and memories
picked over by you
Smooth operator
You stole
a chosen few

You take credit
without a clue
How my heart bleeds
these words of rhyme
from hardships struggled thru

Mirror on wall
must be cracked
          ( distorted view )
Lying to yourself
how many have you stabbed
in the back

Many more left to write
they come to me
in gentle flight
Because of people
Like you
never again will I write

Thief of stories
given birth to by me
How could you do this
without a care
I write them to share
with all
but not to steal you see

~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~
Paul

write and write on, let them steal, the shinning light is still yours.

Paul you never cease to amaze me with your poetry.
You have a lot of years in that mind of yours, and all who take the time to read you will always benefit from your keen insight and delightful wisdom.

Another great write!

Drauntz...I've been lucky. Shoot wouldn't nobody want to steal anything I write.
Thanks for the read and vote of encourgement...Paul

JL...Wisdom and insight HUH you must have the wrong guy LOL.
Thanks dear friend I really appreciate YOUR words of wisdom.Just venting a little about the thieves that steal the hard work of real poets and try to pass it off as their own...Paul

Serenity...It's good to know I have a friend like you who will kick some butt in the name of friendship.Menopause oh hell I know I don't want to cross you. LOL
I just feel for the true poets like yourself and others here that have had their poetry stolen by people on line and try to impress others with it as being there own.
I've been away for awhile you know the " Big House with rubber walls " glad they turned me loose. Thanks for your reply and caring words...Paul

Dixie...Thanks for being in my corner. I need all the support I can get.
Great to hear from you. I've read some of your latest poems and they sound full of energy and positive thoughts, that is great...Paul

Paullalady...It's never happenned to me as for as I know but I read about it all the time. I can't understand how anyone could do that. They are only fooling themselves.
Thanks so much for your reply...Paul

Paul...having been here, and still fighting a battle at this time over a poem of mine that has been stolen and someone else claims to have written, I know exactly where this poem comes from. Steal my car, steal my jewelry, but do not steal my words!

Oh, dear! Your poem sure strikes a strident chord. In fact, I wish I had written it ~ but I'm quick to add that I didn't! lol

Ruth...I hope you come out on top. The nerve of some people stealing a poets hard work and saying it's theirs, knowing they are lieing. We should break all of their fingers so they can't write are claim to write anything again.
Thanks so much for understanding even though I never had any of my work stolen as for as I know...Paul

Linda...Glad you think so much of this to wish that you had written it LOL.
With you I share my heart and all it bleeds...Paul
