Once again, I am here,
trying to find the inspiration
to get out of the boat.

Never pictured myself as one
who could walk on water,
being content to simply float.

I've heard it told that God will give
what is needed to complete the task
if it's what He calls you to do,
all you need to do is ask.

I've been asking for a life jacket
because He knows that I can't swim,
one foot in, afraid I'll drown,
so hard to have faith in Him.

But I know I must do something now.
I can't let life pass me by-
leap on in and if I drown,
at least I gave a damn good try.

My dear passing, between my cooking, what is the problem? You did not say anything and you scared me out of my body. So, do please not do that again. You could have talked any problem out in stead writing that "silly" poem. because I am quite a generation older than you.... after three times cry, I surly will ignore you.

take care

and a very good poem. I am glad that you come back to yourself and still can write poem while I am still trembling at your last post.

hugs

And yes, dear, it is and can be
as simple as that. Just remember...

one ask at a time.

Now you've got it!
One step at a time.
Every day IS a new day.
Smile sister!  Smile.

I've seen her show a few times.  She is a powerful speaker, and very wise.
Doesn't she have a web site too?

Take care and God Bless ya!!

I think we could make a raft out of the words that you weave so well.  Then you can float to your destination - or soar on the beauty of your poetry.

Nice writing...I've watched Joyce...

The strength is within you, as is the lightness that can keep you afloat.
