Hey Pretty Girl

This one knew how to turn me on,
this woman with the red outfit on.
She made her living as a Parisian dancer.
Rumors said she was a skillful romancer,
a heartbreak enhancer, and when I was in her
presence my teenage heartbeat would run amuck.

She and her sister would play with my
shifter while driving to Le Moulin Rouge
in my rusty old pickup truck.
And when it came time for bed, I remember
the words that were always said,
"Hey pretty girl, are you ready to ride
my pickup truck?"  And she would always reply,
"Tonite, you will have no such luck, but ask
again in a few years when you're all grown up."

This has a hint of irony.

Much enjoyed,
