was it the wind then
that did the unraveling
and burned your new tattoo

that made your voice moan
hollow hungry sounds
that only a woman knows

though she denies the language
was it the wind then
that touched the ends of you

and made the hot side of day
melt to panting chills
that shivered your spine sides

and caused you to look for eyes
on the faces of trees
in the forests of your mind

was it the wind then
that took your secrecy
and bathed you in brazen

was it the wind that made you woman

the wind and the tattoo image is a very  unique opening.
Your poetry is interesting and wakes me up to read. Thanks.

What beautiful music to wake up to.  Maybe we'll all feel you in the breeze of the day.  Lovely poetry.

the wind whispers
blows to and fro
in and around
above and between
I feel the magic
and hear the melody

the secret
is revealed

within
the woman of me.

Sorry for the quick poetry babe,
you inspired me tho'

Marvelous poetry!  Enjoyed!

"though she denies the language" - Perhaps only truly a woman when she doesn't deny.

Yeah, pretty much. The wind and rain.

Read them all D. Someday you should gather them for books that smell like leather but feel like secret companions.

Love,
reg
