.

You sit
On the front steps
Of your wooden house
Watching the hours go by

I with my friends
Pretend not to notice you
Still after with no one around

In my dreams
Over which I have no control
A young blond girl
With her enigmatic smile

And what is this
That softly whispers
In my ear

To take me
From my toys

.

You efficiently use a cineaste's language and combine it with a sensitive heart.

Results are poetically perfect.
