I take a walk down the road and see that cracks decorate streets and graffiti is left upon walls from neighborhood peers and as I bypass blocks I smell the sickening aroma of busted beers,
During my walk I pass by a lonesome man,
A man rocking in his old rickety rocking chair,
A man know as The Man with no Tears,
I find no belief in a man with no tears,
I find but only a man that has met all his fears,
A wise, experienced man that uses not his mouth but his ears,
He is about what he sees and what he hears…
This man has conjured many years of confusion,
But now I understand,
He’s seen it all so he’ll never be found bawling and sobbing,
Because he’s seen friends lie on the ground as blood was throbbing,
He’s been there for the time of gloom,
You know where bodies collapsed,
As bullets spit,
And bodies were hit,
All these mental beatings caused this man to retreat like a turtle into its shell,
He no longer listens to the positive but his negative mind,
You know the mind that tells him he would’ve been better off blind,
The part of mind that tells him for this world he’s not adequately designed,
We know you’ve seen the most of it,
We know this very well,
We know during your life you took a long walk through Hell,
But that’s just it,
Come out of your shell because you my friend have a great story to tell.

this is a great poem. A soft, caring heart and a sensitive sense. It is beautiful and touching, esp the last verse.

enjoyed.

Mr. Omniscient,

So much truth here, with or without bullets.  This was eloquently written and thought provoking.  I believe I know children without tears, as well.  A very, very touching and compassion write...
