When Balladeer was born
The Dead Sea hadn't died,
(It wasn't even feeling sick
when Balladeer turned five).

He's very old and very wise
Balding head and failing eyes
When donning shirts with turtlenecks
He resembles circumsized.

His love life too is failing
And I've heard it said
His blow up doll has run off
With his Sleep Number bed.

After all when you grow old
And stamina wears thin
You tend to grow quite envious
Of things like a stiff wind.

Food's replaced his sex life
Gives him erotic feelings
Had a mirror installed by Lowes
On his kitchen ceiling

His golf game too is not so great
But he has a handicap
(It's the woods and irons that he has
In his Walmart bag).

Calling golf a game
In Bally's case aint right,
It's like calling music-music
When played on cheap bagpipes.

So as a tribute to my pal
The famous Balladeer
I'll post this poem from long ago
For everybody here....

MY FRUGAL FRIEND
(Before he looked like Ernest (Jim Varney)

I found this lovely photo
Of my dear friend Balladeer
We all know that he's frugal
But this is pretty weird.

Seems he shops at Walmart
Went to buy some briefs,
Saw the price and said: "HELL NO!!!
These bags they have for free!!!"

Had to bring back the Wal-Mart, didn't ya? Well, at least I put my photo up here for nogoodniks like you to mangle and use to to abuse me.

The poem had a couple of good lines, lugnut. May I remind you that plagiarism is forbidden on the site, along with paying others to write pomes for ya?

Lucky for you, I have a couple of busy days ahead so you can continue breathing before I begin the autopsy on your soon-to-be-deceased carcass.....but it's coming

Laughing so hard here at your pome and all the responses that I almost choked on my saliva!!!  Oh you Silly Guys!!!

you've bagged just right
a little turkey for our delight,
but I fear, dear Toe,
the roast you' ll soon become...

Good luck to the two of you!

Let the games begin....
