Oh
this is a painful thing
rings of saturn
gasping in
jetson dancing
rosie sings
in the flat notes afterall
sticking to my face and rings
are not marriages...

I wish I had a screen appear
a flat panel dvd
sharp
the shadows
of the me
wishing me absurd
and dreams
are vivid in the afterall...

I dream I am a simple thing:
leaving shadows in the sand
soft, so soft, the footstep fall,
and filling in the drift of foot,
as  small, as tall
remembering
lingering in reprimand;
filling in the dreams I dreamt
watering the waterfall
with the castles of the walls
dancing dust between my toes...

"Oh, It is a painful thing..."
I toss dollars to the queen
of a lean lost lingering
praising my malingering
skinny girls with wide brown eyes
underlined by Maybelline--

tell her to shaddup.

self controlled wit, quietly & largely defined by pristine maturity...setting humor while the crueler side of laughter shakes you up, then sets you down...only smiling, a wrily smerck, as if you say, dahhhling....?

only you could mezmorize the mind's eye....

hugs...

Well I just hate some aspects of summer!  All those bikini-clad brown bodies each one leaner, and meaner than the last.  Under my breath I say, "I hope you trip!"   Although I consider myself to be in shape for my age, there are some things you just have to "let go" yanno?     It's nice to remember though isn't it?

It's been a year so far, huh?

We may be taking up a different kind of space, but we are still here and being heared by those that know and those that understand...

You know about the good days and the oh so bad days...

and no matter what kind of space I am taking up I'm glad I am because I'm still here and there are things to be done.

With that said...I got my daughters copy of Victoria's swimsuit catalog...not a good time for me to be reminded of some things...and I felt it my duty not to subject my DH to said catalog...no need for him to see what he's missing right??   Dang...I just wanna feed those girls donuts and pizza.

Love you muchly Karen.

I wrote this remembering being a kid, and playing with my shadow. Now my shadow plays with me.

Karma...is an itch?

Thanks for reading--

At least your shadow still plays. *G* Mine moves ever more slowly. *S*

remembering
lingering in reprimand;
filling in the dreams I dreamt
watering the waterfall
with the castles of the walls
dancing dust between my toes...

I love this! *S*
