China Girl Loud As Thunder

She had an I'll be your
best friend kind of face,
one that the bitter years
of Mao couldn't erase.
I told her I was James Dean.
She said, "Too bad,
he's dead it seems,
and walking the Great
Wall with him was
one of my dreams."
I told her that walking
the wall was my dream too,
could she find a place in
her heart to fit me into
her walking shoes.
China girl says
"Ssshhh, ssshh,
oh baby, just
shut your
mouth."
