The Test

A baptismal of fault
Bringing psychic cries of wail
Rubs the wound with caustic salt
Sailing o’er the chaos sail

The sky is blue the sun shines through
Yet peace eludes the look of day
For dark clouds in the distance brew
With strikes of lightening on the way

I cannot turn the coming gale
The sea will lunge the ship will plunge
And I will feel the sting of hail
Welts my skin cannot expunge

Each ship of sail that rides the sea
Must pass through the raging tides
We must withstand this cap-a-pie
To fix our place and still abide

It is a test to stay alive
It is a test to just survive

Seymour,

My apologies before I begin, but I love you verse but probably for the wrong(?) reasons:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To love the baptismal of fault
the music of the cries of wails
the sting of wound with caustic salt
Sailing o’er the chaos sail
When sky is blue and sun shines through
and peace threatens the look of day
as dark clouds in the distance brew
for strikes of lightning I then pray
I welcome in the coming gale
where sea will lunge my ship to plunge
I long to feel the sting of hail
leave welts my skin cannot expunge
In ship of sail that rides the sea
I revel in the raging tides
absorbing all this cap-a pie
to live the chaos of the ride
It is a test to stay alive
you may as well enjoy the ride!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You are an inspiration to me!!!!!!
(hope we are still friends LOL)
