Heavy words encumber you
Weighting down your fairy wings
Grounding your spirit

It no longer soars
Your smile has dulled to dim
Where it used to light

And delight

Loving embraces are folded
Against your chest, held close
Where once given freely

All must pay a higher price
For your perceived injustices
Are subject to inflation

very interesting topic.
but the situation is so true anytime anywhere.

Inflation means that the amount of supply is less than the amount of demand.
Love has been always in inflation. sigh!!!

enjoyed very much of your writing. A truth.

sometimes a body simply cannot take the heartships man brings upon others...which takes the child, replacing it with hardness...man doesn't realize how his/her actions, words, etc. effects so many others and can actually destroy lives, replacing their hearts with great sorrow and pain.

Marvelous poem...
