To Poesie She sprinkles the darkest ebony nights with diamond crisp starlight, whips frothy creme-clouds into a frenzy behind shuttered eye-screens; dots hillsides with the wisdom of sage, splashes orangeade sunsets chasing cerulean daydreams. She honeysuckles tiny hummingbirds with her sweet tongued delights, soars majestically with bald eagles, views the world through owl's eyes. She is ~Poesie~ my muse in diguise, inspirational truth seeker, dispeller of lies. She is my wordsmith companion, sketch artist and kinetic sculptress, my sunflowered shadow of Vincent within starry night skies. She paints joy within the rainbow, sings the wonder of nature's harmonies, and lifts my spirits poetically to a wondrous place beyond time. She is...Poesie! very enjoyable ‘read’! [thank you so much for answering the poetry ‘challenge’! I am particularly fond of images such as: “honeysuckle(d)...hummingbirds”; (‘Poesie’)...“soars majestically with bald eagles, views the world through owl's eyes...” “She paints joy within the rainbow, sings the wonder of nature's harmonies, and lifts my spirits... to a wondrous place beyond time.” Applause!! |
