Repost:

She Is

The confetti on my parade
The smiling mask of masquerade
The moving staircase helps my stride
The cornucopia of my pride

She is the lift beneath my wings
The preservative in my things
The whispered love that sooths my ear
At least to me it does appear

She understands my every mood
My fantasies and my food
The gentle glean of velvet glove
The ghostly dove of tender love

The Aphrodite of my mind
The sense of purpose that I find
The soul that opens up the door
Onto the sight of evermore

There is no brighter bright than she
And so I thank her humbly

What came up while reading your words, was a smiling face of the one you call “the Aphrodite of my mind” … now isn’t this truly special? As special as you are within your heart and soul, dear Seymour.
A joy to read!

Love and hugs.
