Heart Thought Feeling

Fleeting thoughts fly through my head,
thoughts that scream out to be said,
said in language all the time,
a language bred and born of rhyme.

The rhyme inherent with a sound,
a sound with meaning so profound,
profound enough to put in verse
for verse is always my thought’s curse.

A curse that always finds a way,
a way to give my voice it’s say,
this voice then spilling out in lines,
leaves lines on which my feeling dines.

The feeling borne on written word
gives word a place we all observe,
observe and capture with our heart
as from the heart true thoughts impart.

Thoughts impart from poet’s mind,
a mind that when with words combine,
combine to show with poet’s skill,
heart thought feeling from his quill.

Ivor G Davies

The moment created this second, is a  moment that's going to last.
It lives the full spectrum of time, the future, the present and past.

I love the way you played with words in this poem...the rhyming was wonderful but the use of end words was beautiful...Very well done...*Big Hugs*
