.

The air at dawn
Is cool and blue
Doves call then fly
From tree to tree

At the lake
Water laps the shore
Whose surface is brushed
By the willow’s leaves

The red sun
Rises in the East
There among flowers
In the dewy field

A wisp of mist
My summer girl

Beckoning me
With her white sleeves
