Balladeer was over my house the other day and used my computer. He changed my slot some how and I cannot change it back. Need help, thank you.

Certain Whispers

Certain whispers speak to me
Those lost upon a dreamer’s sea
Riding foam in echo packs
Seeking sandy aged tracks

Bubbles bursting in the air
Bubbles full of past declare
Releasing odors of the past
Odors that were meant to last

They hold me in a time transcend
A place of dream and wily end
An echo chamber full of ploy
A wedding band of sad and joy

Captured in a spirits slot
Growing to a phantoms plot
My head is full of past conceive
Of things that I had once believed

Those lashes of a moments craze
In ashes of a fires blaze

I love you BOTH!

Linda
P.S. I think Balladeer did that on purpose so that he can get the credit for your wonderful sonnets!

Double trouble can it be

To help our member in distress
I'll tell a way to sort the mess
Your poetry will still shine through
Just swop your names is what to do!

I am (rather obviously, I believe)
‘addicted’ to fine imagery!...

I especially (absolutely) LOVE:

“Certain whispers speak to me
Those lost upon a dreamer’s sea
Riding foam in echo packs”

AND:

“My head is full of past conceived
Of things that I had once believed”

[that reminds me of the lines (from Thoreau?!)...something to the effect:
“All of my knowledge only brings me ever closer to my ignorance”...]

AND:

"Men think they 'know' many things
but lo...they have taken wings;
all the 'arts and sciences',
and a million appliances...
The wind that blows
is (far, far) more than any man
shall ever 'know'(!)"

[that is, most assuredly, how I feel these days...particularly with respect
to ‘human nature’... motivations and behavior; etc.!]

after reading the responses under the other poem named the same I had to search to find out what happened in my absence...

hugs to you both and I enjoyed the mix-up but as Marge  replied: we would know "our" Sy under any name he posted...it's in his style. ( The same with Balladeer's)
