Where no tyranny is tolerable

My Nature

She is the mystery, the interplay of opposites.
She embodies the great eternal cycles
of not only Life on Earth,
but the rhythms that permeate, infuse and animate
all of Creation:
She is the circulating blood, the beating heart,
She is the great circle of Death and Birth.
She is the constant turning of Day and Night,
of summer and winter,
of evening and morning,
of autumn and spring
and of plenty and blight.
She is the ceaseless changing from Darkness to Light.
She is the rising and falling of the Sea.
She is the ebbing and flowing of the tides.
She is the advancing and retreating of glacial ice.
She is the coming and going of the seasons,
the rising and setting of the Sun,
the waxing and waning of the Moon,
the filling, and empting of the womb
and the respiration of the Earth's crust.
She is the great, cosmic furnace
at the fiery core of each and every star,
From which matter re-emerges, transmuted and reborn.
By Night she cradles me
in gentle and in healing dreams,
and by day she gives me
strength and resolution to prevail.
She is my calm center,
my anchorage, my quiet refuge,
my place of inner peace.
O, How she helps me make my way
through a sometimes harsh, indifferent and unforgiving world.
And Wherever I walk
she walks beside me;
and wherever I go,
she comes with me;
and wherever I am, she is there.
She is the one who will not leave me,
as, together, we navigate this veil of tears.
And I need only think of her
to know that I will never be alone.

She is my Nature
The Muse of love, creativity and laughter
is there, inside of each of us,
waiting for discovery.
She is there, waiting to be found and appreciated.
In other words,
she is Life.

Swells are beginning to move in from the deep Ocean and waves, as high as six to eight feet, crash ashore and run well up the beach.  The wind is picking up, yet sky is clear, with afternnon Sun.
