Rewrite: Tilting Scales On a divvy frisky scale of schemes Blind justice feeds and weighs my dreams In joys of wiles that I can reap I kiss her cheeks in tender sweep She knows fair well the things I do The love and mischief that I brew The kingdoms that I rave in swear My only love this maiden fair She smiles in Braille my tilt of scale And laughs inside my lusty sail She favors me a willow weep Serendipity of my sweep She loves the gestures of amour The coup of lover’s magic store The fire and the brand it stands That procreates this eath and land So I tilt the scale with many wiles And she answers, with many smiles |
