I will, I will, I will
13 April 2007

I want to write about this
now
in the dark
while it’s here
during my nightly 12-hour vigil
three days before I get my garden semi-spotlight
and seven days before the street light is fixed
and five days before my extra burglar guards are up
in the thick of IT
and I will overcome IT
I will
I will

Really enjoyed the read, the anxiety, the rush, the feel of this piece but, as I explained to Passing Shadows in Opague April, my April state must have missed IT because I lost IT and didn't quit get IT?  My loss I know, that's why, embarassed as I am, I'm bringing IT up. What is IT?

Thanks Sea.

Thanks, Jimmy.  Giggles, no you haven't lost IT.  May IT never happen to you.  IT was a burglary which I described (I think) in Announcements and Links under the title of Lost Email Addresses, so don't want to repeat the story of IT for the sake of the people who have already read IT and may read this!  Smiles.

I like this - the determination rings through your words.  Go for IT - and thank you for sharing.

Most people just write affirmations--Our African Owl writes poetry in a foxhole.

You have my total admiration, dear one.

Thanks, Aziza.  The determination took a lot of determination for germination.

Thanks, Meggen.  Yes, repetition often says a lot.

Thanks, Karen.  Giggles and smiles at the first sentence for all the right reasons!  Thanks, for the last sentence, although I don't know that I deserve it.  There are moments that I shake like a leaf!

The urgency AND the courage is felt and yes you will overcome IT!

Very well done, dear friend.

May you feel safe and secure.

Thank you Drauntz.  The cheerful spirit isn't always easy.

Thanks, Kacy.  Loved your idea.  Of course, I would love the Lion best!  Thanks for the safe thoughts.  I am wrapping them round my shoulders and they feel soooo goooood!

Thanks, Margherita, for the empathy, the encouragement, the praise, the wishes for my safety and security, and the love and hugs.  At the time I wrote the poem, I was expecting the Spanish burglar guards soon!  They still aren't up yet!  The guy keeps dodging and diving and making excuses, but I think I have pinned him down now!

Thank you for the wonderfully warm welcome, Donna, and for recognising the me in me!  Big smiles!  It's lovely to be back and to see all my good Pipster friends again.

Yes... you will. *S* All those security measures will help... but it is your will that will get you through and let you stand victorious, not victim to fear. *S*

Good for you, sweet lady!!

My dear, dear Diana, yes you WILL overcome it!

May all the safety measures and precautions be soon in place so that you do not have to keep a vigil. I'd be paranoid as well if I had been robbed ~ especially if I was in the room as you were!

I'm keeping my prayers up for your safety and for the safe-keeping of your belongings and property!

I'm with you in spirit, my friend!!!

Love & Protective Light,

Linda

Thank you so much Linda, for your prayers, love, light and good wishes and confidence in me (I'm not always sure of my own confidence in me!) and the spiritual company.

Kate, thank you.  It is so good to be back again.  I'm not always so sure about the courage and determination, but I try . . . and I am determined to be determined!  Smiles.
