crowd gathers
at riverside park
fish knife through water
sea serpent-like
raging mutants
uncertain of genre
spawning bottled magic
rigorous major-league attention
draws
ideas from superstructures
stepping
inside the mind of imagination

endearments skip from
a childlike man
sailing on a bridalway
composition of chuncky waves
over a marbel basin coupled
with
a biblical
terra cotta sunrise

travel book photos
of roses on
wine tasting spindals
archwayed
by pleasant floral
like a drapped
elegant garment
thin veiled…
yet, amazingly
true to nature...
ivory romance
mystical array
of intense &
brilliant
color
almost certain
pre-raphael paintings
invisible,
yet there for emotions
to touch
to feel

such a strategic
therapeutic center
filled with galloping
trails of
early spring white blooms
swaying gently in
the wind....

Egyptian-styled half figurines
grey squirrels
seriously play around
to the tunes
from a huge circular pool
and there a fountain lodges a
slender nude
Artemis
daughter of Leto and Zeus
fratility surrounds
may flies hatching
bold and hungry
and there
somewhere in time
I stroll the pedistol of
eminence of many leaves
cultivating
options of conversation
sprawling

water reveals nymphettes
drapery, gently pulled back
and freed from necessity
bathing in all
their naked beauty
paraphernalia of virginity
lay against my mind

such like venice & it's
countryside, cottages
village people, children
planting memory

and
you
there
next to me

less is more
and several lifetimes
whisper
"companion lovers"
can't live with
or
without
each other

"dearheart"
we are completion
in
unknown beginnings
over
and over
again

maybe someday
we'll get it right?

secrets live
like numersous nodes
of true interpretations
that venture toward
the moon
a private venture
we alone may tour

until then

...I love you...~

Lee~
You can truly write like no one else I know~

'and you
there
next to me
and less is more
and several lifetimes
whisper '

... this being only a snippet of all I found to like in this penning~

Your poetry is truly unbelievably breathtaking…each time I read you it is like being next to you feeling your breath as you speak…you have such a wonderful gift…I am amazed in you with every read…I know I don’t always comment but you paint with such color that you move me….helen

I agree with all the above and MY favorite snippet is "...."dearheart"
we are completion
in
unknown beginnings
over
and over
again. . .

and of course my favorite of all snippets is alwasys..."I love you"...

yes....as others have mentioned, the
following contains lines that are
especially fine:

“and
you
there
next to me

less is more
and several lifetimes
whisper
"companion lovers"
can't live with
or
without
each other..."

I also like:

“we are completion
in
unknown beginnings
over
and over...”

And...specific images such as:

“children
planting memory”

“mystical array
of intense &
brilliant
color”

very interesting ‘write’!

I know I'm not the first to be drawn to these lines... but they definitely deserve recognition... they're wonderful! *S*

I like this very much, Lee... beautiful work!

Painted loving words on a canvas of truth.
A beauty.
