Ah this grand dame
Wants me in her zoo
As if I were some prized animal
For display

I need only acquiesce
To her aggressiveness
And it’s easy garnished with opulence
Every day

A man should make plans
For his old age
Though a certain amount of persiflage
May be required in exchange

Still how would I use
Such words as truth and love
Beauty as made worthwhile just being alive
Without a memory being stained
