.

I came upon a man
Seemingly standing sentinel
On what was beyond

I was tired
Too weary for fear

And all he said
As I passed him by
Was Oh
It’s you

Every poem I have read by you is incredible.  You have a unique gift for being wonderfully insightful, even within mundane circumstances.

I bow to your genius!

Keep 'em coming ... I need to be made to think!

Oh, it’s you, Young fellow!
Where is she?
That very elegant young lady!
Who was in your hand last year,
When you eagerly took her to flee.

Her blue eyes were clearer than sky,
Her golden hairs shined moonlight
Her cousin the girl I loved so much
Said nothing good about you.

But she was sadly dead last year
I wrote 1000 poems for her with tear
I painted her portrait named Blue
Which was stolen at art show on day 2.

So, where is she?  My lover's cousin.
I am asking you, young fellow!

A fine lesson in what I call
"Minimalistic Constructionalism"!

This "open" forum is quite possibly becoming REALLY
(especially) 'interesting' lately!

I love that you keep it simple but it still says a lot and has a point. Very proficient.
