Aprils Fool

I was about a minute from Walmart
when I got the call.
April the stock girl told me,
she didn't love me after all.
Seems late last night she
up and found someone new,
while stocking the racks
with a new shipment of
womens shoes.
I pulled into parking,
just a little upset,
my friend jenna grabbed me
and said "Thats what you get."
"I warned you about April,
told you she was a fool,
but you liked her cute rear
and to you she was cool."
I headed for the stockroom,
I knew April would be there.
I wanted to speak with her,
my choice words to share.
Now I stood before her,
looking into her eyes,
but I couldn't say a word
as April broke down and cried.
As she fell into my arms
I wiped away her tears
and then April whispered
two words into my ear.
April Fool...
