Do you know?
Do you have any idea?
Of how much I love you!

Can you see?
Can’t you tell?
The intensity of this emotion
The strength of it…
So willing to carry us both
But it is not what I want!
Its not, what will be!
We should be carrying each other

Look at me!
Tell me!
That all those tears
Touched you…
Has your world
Turned you so cold
That true warmth goes unnoticed
Has your heart solidified
To the point of no emotion

Our connection
so black and white
I am your warmth
And you are my coldness
In the beginning you said
I was your soul mate
So why keep me at arms length
Don’t you know?
That the further you push me away
The more I want to embrace you
In my warmth
Hold me close, you should
For I will bring color
to your colorless world

Don’t you know?
It’s a protective shield, you carry
I had it once
I broke free of it…
It is time
For you to do the same

I could really feel your emotion through your verse.  Honest pure writing. Well done.
