It's that familiar vibe
that I can always sense
There doesn't have to be sound
or actions
or even movement.
But still I know it's there.
A monster is about to be unleashed
let out from the cage
where it's anger has been simmering
and where it's victims
are sure to pay.
I need to hide
my instinct is to run and never look back.
My heart is pounding
waves of fear hit me with force
knocking me off guard
and making me lose my way.

I'm lost.

I look desperately for escape routes
but there are none,
I'm counting down the seconds
that I hear you,
That familar noise,
the sound which brings so much
hurt and destruction.

The voice of my mother
who bleeds me dry
in a way like no other.

OhJenna~
This reads very troubling and sad~

I think of just how much I would love to once again hear the voice of my mother ... and it saddens me to think that you pen a dread at hearing yours~
