I burn bright as a nova
the right red taillight of a hearse
when falling freely
i wake and make matters worse
terrified of hi fidelity
a carbon based copy
press down for good results
walls stretch like silly putty
i make smears on the perfumed plate
the best regions of my mind
contain found poetry
mostly cubism of sex

this is where i start drinking

there's a metaphysical crease in this poem
it represents the passing of time
too much winking at the camera
too much self aware
thought snot achooed into the exosphere
meteorites of meaning
burn up in the sky
i open wide and catch the droplets of vague
inducing this burning inside
this beautiful star-filled sky of Want
a thousand million points of futility
to say "one" and cover them all
