so hurried
their march
dressing in
equality of sensation
passers by
day after day
let pass

thus we
are diluted again
mortified by
utterly desirable
well meaning designs

she
her last interview
made no impression
cept
on the sin of slavery
she sorely knew

he
his regard for
views and reasoning
of his mistress of
darkness

he said, turn around
she did

oh how she loved the dark
it's all she knew
and her fishes couldn't swim

suicidal suppositions
wandering maniacs
of character
left, where tears shed the loss
of her

but only for a short time

seized upon any reasoning
beyond distress

and
soon
the days
forgot
the phantom

her hope,
her narrative of truth
immediately began to search

then, she heard the dark speak

"I'm here"

come, spend some pleasant time!

she looked a long far off gaze

then turned

looking back time and again
for that quiet resting place
the felt and believed

long desired

and remained there ever since

for she wanted nothing more
then to love and be loved
don't we all….?

she…
a way worn traveler
might rest within the impulse
of sudden fatality

ohhhhh, that feeling
that utter truth
growing impatient
I chase the moral hiding place
of full moon light
still trembling at the preacher's
powerful voice
circling widely around her

she is inward discrimination
mortal child
sojourner
of many voices
wearing hats
of sung song remembers

and to

promise of sonorous voice

in rain

imposing circumstance

she bleeds
in a grown up way

woman

it is
merely
a matter of
if
or
when

Lee~
I read this early today ... and let it simmer, seeping into that 'within' place that I go ...~

This is one of your finest pieces to date~

So many leaves
fluttering throughout
this lovely opening
to a new chapter...

Hummm…
I like the way you can delve into any subject matter, and do it so well.

Nice one, Hun...

Your words are so absolutely captivating, dear LeeJ. I hear the sound of drums and also of violins, the shades of life.

Love,
