Clues To A Message In A Bottle

I found a message in a bottle sent by you
love notes hidden in sweet pages of how
you searched to pick each perfect word
I’ve read and reread between these lines
always will carry them with me forever
been too long where before a void was carried
in which I now rediscover myself in age
love- you carried has simply taught me that
with encouragement and deep devotion
you have gifted me a guide to myself
and drawn you closer in your understanding
I’m truly amazed with each breath
willing to inhale and exhale without fear
to gracefully walk through these days
love more without any regrets at all
you may be days of oceans away from me
still, you hold my heart
