Jack went into Walgreen
To get Jill’s medicine
The young assistant enquired
Of Lady Jill’s wellbeing.

“She has been drunk for weeks
At the screen of 286”
Jack flirted with the blond girl
amused self with his eyes’ twirl

“Were I her, I would stay drunk.”
The girl calmly responded

Jack told Jill
Jill told me
The very first time
At the age of 93
He was well teased
By someone not me.

I love them whole heartedly.
