SAMs' Panegyric,
to that, Mr. Robinson,
who placates servants;

"A life is not important
except impact" lights
the court-martialed torch;

carries it past first,
that blurs democracy's Cant;
stokes implications,

From the fair forehead
of the second baseman's block;
yet turns other cheek,

past neutral shortstop,
who abominates all vows
as false, dicers' oaths;

Jackie rounds third base
past Frank, the black coach, missing;
past third base elbows;

heading through catchers'
head butt; as infield throws miss,
Jackie touched Home Plate

After lettering
four sports; now four bases;
an infield home run,

Heaven's face doth glow,
avarice, Chock Full o' Nuts
till New York Giants,

die from pulchritude;
as Queen Gertrude concluded,
heart disease weakened

Jackie, as blind eyes
could not diverge the candid
truth: Racism lives.

Written with intensity and gut-wrenching honesty. Yes, hatred and racism is alive and active, not just in America but around our wobbly globe. We will probably spin ourselves out of orbit completely some day with our collective insanities.
Would that we could just enjoy the beauty that is abundantly available on terra firma.
Mr Robinson was a dynamic human being.

Symbolic Planet
wobbles, till Moon is No more;
Earth lasts forever.

World will fire burn,
New Heaven and New Earth Sprouts,
Righteous live forever.

Man can not diverge
clouds set to grow Earth's produce
weeds burn, not The Wheat.
