Wren sings in tree's mist.
Spring’s surprise, Winter’s demise!
Dew-kissed buds blossom.

very fine!

I might yet become a devotee of these
short, exacting poetic forms (particularly
the Nature 'writes'!)

Applause!

So lovely, dear Kacy!

Branches full of birds:

they rock themselves into Spring

singing to our hearts

It's so good to think of Spring when we're going in to Winter but I'll imagine the budding through your words.

I so love Spring being sung into existence by the birds that flock to my bird feeders...Somehow their wonderful voices bring my spirit alive so that I can dream anew the beauties of this world....Wonderful writing....*Big Hugs*

What a delightful picture of a wren! Thanks Margherita!
And thank you each for sharing this haiku, but even more so, for your Pips poetic heartsongs!

Midnitesun,

Very good hon.  This works well as a classic haiku.  I like them like that.

very beautifully done....this gave me a comical feel, not you, but winter's demise made me think of winter's loss....well for awhile anyway...

Love reading you

Just came in from work and when I got out of the car a wren was on the fence just 6 or 8 feet from me singing his heart out...he must of known this beauty was in here and wanted me to see it. . .

I came back for another ‘read’ of this write!

Kacy:

"Wren sings in tree's mist.
Spring’s surprise, Winter’s demise!
Dew-kissed buds blossom."

AND:

Karilea:

“Windows are open
Lush love songs trill once again
Nests are next on list”

BOTH of the above are grand-fine!
[I really enjoyed these!]

much applause again!!

Yup! Enjoyed the haiku.  However, the Spring buds were kissed by SNOW this year.
