I went inside my soul tonight
went inside so that I might
return once more to long ago
with memories sweet and oh so slow

through hazy veiled recollections
I wandered through my selections
of days that look so very sweet
when in the past we again meet

from this distance I could look
at faded pages of my book
that is held inside my heart
Without an end and my start

misty memories that fade and sway
of things that passed on a long ago day
softened with the passage of time
and in whose depths I gladly climb

Absolutely beautiful. Though it is good to live in the Now, sometimes it feels equally good (or even necessary) to dive deep, to live certain moments of the past, also to harmonize the events of our existence.

Enjoyed your poem.

Love,

Sweet reflections ~ softly expressed.

Misty watercolor memories can keep us warm ~ even on the coldest day.

May you be making wonderful memories today for your tomorrows.

A lovely write.

An enjoyable trip between veils of time, to hold once again, a comforting moment!
