how did i become your one & only

to the point that you're sad and lonely

                 without me?

and how did your Sony

get tuned into my radio station

without us taking a much needed vacation?

and why is your relaxation

defined by my willingness to recline

                  next to you?

              was i out of line

when i resigned?

or was it i just couldn't stand the fact that it was part of your grand design

                that we kiss?
