To Reach Out

It just isn't like me
To reach out to another
How do I begin?
To let myself appear weak
Does not seem too smart to me

"It just isn't like me
To reach out to another"

~ You could have fooled me, Sweet Sue. I know you to be one to reach out to those in need.

"To let myself appear weak
Does not seem too smart to me"

~ I believe it is a show of strength and compassion to go out of your comfort zone and reach out to others.

I am wondering at what might have happened that brought you to write this poem, my sweet friend.

Giving you a loving hug, Smartest Chick.

Linda

What an excellent question, Sue.

It seems the order of the day, lately,
for me.

And something to ponder on.

Well done, Sue.

oh, what a tender poem.

be kindly open your heart
to provide for other's love
a place to rest.

I still remeber your spring tulips. Are there any other flowers blooming lately?

Because truth lies
in honesty...

and that is what is most important
in such a quest.

this seems a very personal, deep poem. Reaching out to another is not weak, but it makes you strong, and reaching out to each other is what God wanted us to do.

I got the feeling you meant you were needing to reach out to someone else who might help you through some personal storm, rather than what you so often do...which is to offer a shoulder to another in need. Whicheverit is now, you always interact with such selflessness and giving, from a golden heart that is honest and true.
Hoping all is well with you dear Sue.

Sending you prayers and healing thoughts dear Sue.
Love you, Nancy

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

You reach out so readily when others need you... so I understand how hard it is to ask for help... it's a different perspective for you. *S*

Just remember... we all need to be needed... and those of us you've helped so generously are always glad to return the favor. *S*
