Question Of Faith
By Paul Wilson

Should I question the reason why
loved ones suffer unbearable pain
I pray that God would heal them
and make them whole again

It’s said that God is kind and gentle
that he is a forgiving God to all
So God I ask you… be kind and gentle
show compassion help the sick stand tall

My faith is growing weak
I need a thread of hope to hold onto
Work your miracle of healing
take away the pain I pray to you

How do you expect us to have faith
when we suffer so much hurt and pain
Give us faith… make us strong
or release her soul before she goes insane

Miracles are said to happen everyday
so what day will her miracle take place
Have you forgotten that she exists
dry those tears of pain flowing down her face

Why do I bother you with prayers
that seem to be in vane
Tonight is no different than any other
she’ll try to sleep but can’t because of the pain

Hear my prayers I beg of you
I’d gladly give up my own life
If you would perform a miracle
and heal my wife

Tears fill my eyes as I read of your pain for what your wife has to endure and I will be adding my prayers to others on her behalf but also on your behalf that you be given understand and that it might strengthen your faith...It is said that where many are praying for someone that all are drawing on the powers of heaven....May the Lord grant you your desire if it be His will....*Big Hugs*

(angel compassion and healing hugs) Oh Paul, it has been a while since I've gotten to read your wonderful, heartfelt and earnest poetry because I've been as busy as a bee, and I'm sooooooo sorry to hear about your wife's adversities here! (hugs) I too wholeheartedly offer my healing prayers to her, and I truly believe faith is the best medicine of all in that I've seen and heard it work miracles before, from my little sister surviving a fatal allergic reaction when she was a little girl to another friend's cancer vanishing entirely after sacred dirt from outside a church in New Mexico was apllied gently to the infected region. (wipes tear) We're all optimistic that faith will work wondrous healing for your wife too, dearest friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Paul, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Noah...Yes it has been awhile since I read any of your poems as well. These days I don't get to do much reading or writing with my busy work schedule.
Thank you so very much for your caring and faithful words. I try to stay strong but every now and then I just almost lose faith but friends like you restore my faith and I carry on. Thanks for your prayers my friend...Paul
