Toasted Romance

13 April 2007

Her beauty was,
a body of strength.
A dragon on the wind,
a fire breathing flames.

The warmth of her heart, a kindness
in consideration and thought.
On this road of battles,
battle of a love to be caught.

To hold her close,
and not smother her fire.
Yet to feel her strength,
and pattern of
energy to conclude.

The woman,
the man.
The poet, and
her beauty as food.

" . . . It is written, Man shall not live by
bread alone, but by every word that
proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
Matthew 4:4 KJV

my friend who I composed the poem for, she said the above poem  was my best poem ever. But maybe they are all because of her. However she happens to live in California.

The whole story?! the whole story?! could be more beautiful than the poem itself. wow, she is very lucky and I am very happy for her to
have you as friend.
