Your heart Always thought I could not penetrate. Was under the impression it felt no pain I had always thought.. that emotion was not in your plans Just a good time and a couple of laughs Your heart... Its so well guarded So hidden from emotion But are you really sensitive? Does your heart really feel? Is the warmth of your hands... coming from your heart or is it just your body radiating heat... Can't tell sometimes an even tone you carry... "You broke my heart" I heard you say... It took me by surprise.. not what I expected! It wasn't done intentional... Beautiful! Sometimes it is hard to know when we really have touched someone else. ""You broke my heart" I heard you say... It took me surprise.. not what I expected! It wasn't done intentional... On both sides it happens that we don't want to "expose" our feelings too much, out of fear of not being corresponded ... And then suddenly it is too late for clarifying the situation. Well written poem. Love, margherita |
