 “are you happy?”He asked… Eyes closingto feel the question “Happiness“ was the thought “Am I happy?”the question asked Sadnesswas not the feeling Peaceful comfort, no fear at all Its was a new ground, I had resolved “Happiness…”, she came to say “Is not just sex and a good time It is the unconditional everything” No details mention… but the thought lingered Unconditional friendship, support, love and understanding No lies or games, just truth -honesty if you will Even if a little pain is caused She rather a slight heart ache than a life time of doubt To know within, that if she looses her sight He would be her eyes No questions asked That if she falls into a void His hand would be there To help her out Without judgment To fall asleep at night Knowing, he would watch over her sleep To weak up every morning Knowing,he would be there to start her day Through out the days when they are apart Just to call him with a thought No words spoken.. Just a feeling That intimate connection And to hear his voice on the other side of the phone Is to know.. That he heard her calling That they are one…. Happiness is withinher.. within him.. within their children This is her unconditional everything Jen--->MindBodySoul |
