Eternal Rhyme

I love to write sempiternal rhyme
To ride the winds fraternal time
To oil the waters raging smooth
And turn some moments into sooth

To stay the passions of recall
To echo like a songbirds fall
A touch of honey on the tongue
The sound of bells in evenings rung

A rhyming rhyme of pantomime
To ply and fly with fleeting time
To stay the air in winsome fair
To be the shell of echoes wear

It must be pleasing smooth of ring
And soft and tender in its sing
Butter on a hot breads bed
A women’s shape to turn a head

A feast that salves the soul in care
A thing that sweets a breath of air

embracing metaphor becomes you like a wool sweater, all warm and cozy....not to mention your ambiance as a teacher.
