Dark side of the Moon.

Magic Box

A special box made just for you
with tender loving care
from gentle hands and heart so true
that put the magic there.

With floral vines and scroll work flair,
a dragon guards the fun.
The monogram denotes a pair,
yet ancients mark just one.

Inside are treasures filled with art.
Such memories unfold,
designed to touch upon your heart
and warm your very soul.

Each speaks of magic inspired things,
of wishes, hopes and more;
of pleasures shared with passions dreams
while Soulmates fly and soar.

Fields of flowers, leaves and vines
provide a lovely shroud.
The moon and stars with sun that shines
and unicorn so proud.

So deep within the beauty found
one thing yet to behold.
It stands for two, forever joined;
for two that share one soul.

Ken~
I would know this magic box ... it is so like the cedar chest that I had crafted for one of my sons ... his treasures are kept safe inside ... waiting the day that he shares them with two daughters~

This is nostalgic and I greatly enjoyed it~

Oh my..I can picture this magic box..
imagine running my fingers over the scroll work.
What wonderful treasures I would find inside.
Ken, this piece is pure magic! And I love it!
& , Nancy

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

the magic, the majesty of the written word.
amazing what you did with this work, and to think we have so much left to give.

Marge - I'm glad this brought the magic memories back for you. It is just that... tangible magic that you can hold and feel. Each line describes it in detail, and when held you can feel the magic, the love eminating from it.

Nancy - Thank you, I knew you would appreciate the magic

LeeJ - Thanks for hearing the music.

Magherita - Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for the response.

Kate - Your perception is right on as always. It is for a most precious Princess, who is much admired, cherished and beloved.

Outlawthunder - Thank you for your kind words. Welcome to PIP and the magic shared.

Startime55 - I do too, very much. It feels wonderful doesn't it?
