Daddy,
Will you get the Sun for me?
I want his warm light
To make my room cozy and bright.

“Sun belongs to the Sky” my dear

Daddy
Will you get the sky for me?
I love rainbow and cloudy White
I care for him when he cries.

“Sky belongs to the stars”

Daddy
Will you get the stars for me?
I want hang them up my ceiling
Pretend they are twinkling eyes.

“Stars belong to the night”

Then Daddy
Will you get the night for me?
I’ll color him with many dyes
Then fold him into a butter fly

“Night belongs to the moon”

Daddy,
Will you get the moon for me?
I’ll polish him to the best
So he shall never lose his light.

“Moon belongs to dream”. My darling.

Then Daddy,
Will you get dream for me?
I’ll put all into my magic head
To make all of them true in life.

“Dream belongs to poet.”

Then I want to be a poet.

Oh my this took my breath away!
How gorgeous this is!
A keeper for me to read to my granddaughter.
Thank you so much!   Nancy

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.
