Softly!

Softly through the night there whispers in my heart, gentle
words of tender caring telling me to have no worries.
Take these things from me and lift my spirits, bring back the
smile that was so fleeting my soul hears you.
The rising sun in all her glory lights our lives and warms our
bodies, night skies so star filled soft moonlight stealing kisses.
Dark eyes meet each other blend with such sweet melting, tender
shaky smiles lips quiver with the passions.
Firelight flickers all are dancing, finger tips brush each
other,each touch brings us closer.
Your hands slide along my arm sending shocks right through
me,swaying together to the music.
The whole world fades away to nothing, silence drops around
us,silvered dark skin glowing your smile wakes my knowing.
How long is a lifetime, how many days will the magic last, how
many precious moments, you whisper let us find out?
I have known you my whole life,in my dreams you walked, now you
are here to my touch, together now we will move forward.
No more running from each other, the love we sought we found
waiting in the heart of our best friend.
Together we share so much, those things that to us are so
important,in you I find understanding of what I am.
In me you find the strong woman you need,to walk beside you
always,to share both joys and burdens.
This is the way it was meant to be,two spirits joined as
one, each bringing out the best in the other.
Before the Clans we stand, hand in hand, from this day forward we
share one path, together we build new life!

You speak softly and with wisdom, Great Spirit Daughter.

"This is the way it was meant to be,two spirits joined as
one, each bringing out the best in the other."

~ Nodding in total agreement. Fortunate are we who have found a love such as this.

It was a pleasure to read your venerable words once again.

Love & Spirit Light,

Many parts of this most fine ‘write’ could virtually stand alone
as ‘poems’ in their own right….even the very first lines:

“Softly through the night there whispers in my heart, gentle
words of tender caring telling me to have no worries.”

This poem is also assuredly grand-fine ‘Romanticism’...

I particularly loved such lines as:

“how many days will the magic last, how
many precious moments, you whisper let us find out?”

“…..the love we sought we found
waiting in the heart of our best friend.”

and….In my ever-most-humble opinion, the following
is quite simple “as good as it gets”!:

“in you I find understanding of what I am.
In me you find the strong woman you need, to walk beside you
always, to share both joys and burdens.
This is the way it was meant to be, two spirits joined as
one, each bringing out the best in the other.”

much, MUCH applause!

Siyo Midnightsun my guide in the words of love, held within her one of the most beautiful and abiding loves I have ever seen.I watched with my own eyes this very love all my life, and though they walked a thorny path their words one to the other were always filled with tender caring.

Vsigi Secondhanddreampoet,my heart thanks you for your kindness I am deeply honored by your words. Each time I think of love, this is the music of my spirit.Only complete trust, and total love would be acceptable that means to me an opening of self that leaves one defensless. If one can not trust the other that deeply, there is no real love. This is the love my grandparents shared, and I have seen with my own eyes one bare their soul to the others knife knowing they were safe!

how simple to pronounce:

love

add three letters, just three:

ing

loving

powerful, perhaps the most powerful force driving the universe from the very start.

how you write of love strikes at the core of loving. nothing short of wonderfully pure loving for one who can write about it in such a magnificent way.
