Of All Creation

Wrapped in the warmth of darkness
heated by stardust
weaving gifts of fantasy
reflects memories
of the times filled with laughter
and words touched the heart

Embracing all the seasons
as winter bows to spring
and love comes into blossom
opening the heart
to encompass all around
vanquishing judgment

Awed by the morning sunrise
filling eastern sky
where the colors paint the soul
of a masterpiece
no earthly hand can copy
such wondrous sight

Fading into evening
as dusk settles round
my thoughts grow meditative
about this short life
and what purpose is in store
when the flesh is gone

Then gazing to the heavens
filled with brilliant stars
I know of eternity
where two become one
and love will fill the expanse
of all creation

Well done my little friend of the north.
Miss seeing you, but do understand all
about life's needs.  Happy Easter to you,
your loved ones.

SUPERB!

I especially LOVE:

“where the colors paint the soul
of a masterpiece
no earthly hand can copy”

and, the grand-fine ending:

“Fading into evening
as dusk settles round
my thoughts grow meditative
about this short life
and what purpose is in store
when the flesh is gone

Then gazing to the heavens
filled with brilliant stars
I know of eternity
where two become one
and love will fill the expanse
of all creation”

MUCH applause!

There you are! You've been missed! ~ and this stellar piece of writing is one of the reasons why!!!

"Awed by the morning sunrise
filling eastern sky
where the colors paint the soul
of a masterpiece"

~ heavenly!

In fact, the entire poem is worth repeating so I am saving it to my trove of special poetic treasures!

Loving hug,

EA
