.

Alright
Now listen up
You little worm
I’m in charge

That means
Top of the pyramid
Master lord the big dog
King emperor boss
Alpha male of the universe
The man

I don’t care
Who you think you are
Much less your thoughts
On right or wrong

So if you want
Any chance at all
All I want
To hear from you

Is prayers praises
Each sun that rises

And every night Amen

What a grandiose poem. "I" must wear a halo now...a shining halo.
It is not your common type...very light hearted.

I laughed and laughed seriously.

Amen to your last three verses.

very much enjoyed.

Thank you both

A Jewish friend in discussing the story
simply shugged and said:  "God's not a nice guy."

Thanks again

John

by the way...when I first read this, I thought it was "I'm in change" instead of "I'm in charge" (what can you expect from a few beers too many?)

and so my poem came from this

thank you
