the lips i taste
on a rainy night
as cold it was
she held me tight
but then she paused
and the night was done
she said we're only friends
and then she was gone

a world so full
of the unlovely truth
with passions so fierce
what do i do
standing alone
in the pouring rain
crying outloud
going insane

before the night
we had gone on dates
when she first grabbed my hand
i knew it was fate
our first kiss was spontaneous
it happened so quick
i was washed by her words
and then came in the bliss
i never thought
the end was near
the last time i heard her voice
i was standing here

a world so full
of the unlovely truth
with passions so fierce
what do i do
standing alone
in the pouring rain
crying outloud
going insane

WELCOME TO PASSIONS!
Much enjoyed your entrance post.
I look forward to reading more of your work.

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

I really liked this, it captured me in a subtle way and held on tight.  This is really good.

Very deep and heartfelt first post!  I have been in the same place before, and your words captured the feeling exactly.  Welcome to passions, my friend, and we do hope you will make it your home, too!

I will be waiting to read more of your excellent work...
