Whispers bring to me that which lies
Quietly before me.    Allowing my
Tears to fall,  allowing my soul to
Ache and my shoes to shuffle
Quietly against the smooth stones
Where lovers have lingered in a
Kiss’s pause.     And I know…
For truth has escaped these lips
And the softness of hazel eyes
Has glimpsed the golden fleece
Of a blessed soul….

And we shall,  can not ever…
Never forget…

I really like the "feel" of this, the softness. Your wording portrayed such tender emotion. I liked this a lot.
