like gilded words on decorative parchments
the silver-tongued emissaries of contemplation
emote the fragrance of  honeysuckle thoughts
on apple-blossom wafts of springtime gusts

and slowly simmer like french onion soup
oe’r an open flame on a cool April night
somewhere in the environs of radiance,
bringing to a boil the overwhelmed emotions

of summer lovers on a clear, calm sea
of dreams, exuding laughter, emanating joy
with wisps of hope, intertwined with speckles
of golden peace serene, enjoined, and seen

as reality’s reception-snow clouds the signal
beamed for all to see, and settles like micro-universes’
dust on black-ground shadows
formed like spray on an open sill

and yes, he recovers from rolling in laughter on the floor, "and that is exactly why I wrote this..."
